Description: Rolex Explorer ref 16570
Pre-owned Rolex Explorer II ref 16570 (2000 – 2001) is a widely sought-after edition of the famous spelunker’s tool watch. During its impressive, decades-long production run, several iterations of the watch came to market. Early editions ran on the caliber 3185, while later production watches were outfitted with the newer caliber 3186. Additionally, ref. 16570 underwent several luminescent upgrades, first using Tritium, then Luminova, and finally Super-LumiNova. The used Rolex 16570 for sale here is a later production model featuring the caliber 3186 and a sharp black dial decorated with the newer lume. It’s also worth noting that the arrow hand used to distinguish between day and night hours is uncoupled from the other centrally-mounted hands, allowing it to read a second time zone.
