Description

This 2023 Rolex GMT-Master II reference 126715CHNR takes the warm-toned “Rootbeer” color scheme and renders it entirely in 18K Everose gold, Rolex’s proprietary rose gold alloy that resists fading over decades of wear. The 40mm case is paired with a two-color brown and black Cerachrom bezel insert, a scheme that has become one of the brand’s most distinctive travel-watch aesthetics, standing apart from the more common blue, red, and black color combinations found elsewhere in the GMT-Master II range. The brown dial is fitted with gold hour markers and the signature arrow GMT hand for tracking a second time zone independently of the main hour hand. Unlike the two-tone steel-and-gold execution of the standard Rootbeer reference, this all-gold configuration presents a fully monochromatic, dressier take on the model. Inside is the automatic caliber 3285, delivering approximately 70 hours of power reserve along with Rolex’s Chronergy escapement for enhanced accuracy and efficiency. This 2023 example has been thoroughly inspected by our watchmakers, with bezel action, GMT function, and case condition all confirmed to original specification.
