Pre-owned Rolex Day-Date 40 ref 228239 (2019) boasts a larger 40mm Oyster case and an all-gold finish crafted from 18 karat white gold. This men’s Rolex is striking. The case is topped with a wider fluted bezel, polished lugs, and a handsome black dial. The day and date are present on the dial and can be adjusted via the Double Quickset function built into the movement. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, and a Twinlock screw-down crown with two sealed zones creates a waterproof seal of up to 100 meters. The President bracelet is a fixture on most models and boasts solid three-piece links in a satin and high-polish finish and a concealed Crownclasp. A truly masterful Rolex design.
